Passing of the Torch

Dr. Kurt Michael, long time Chairman of the Augusta County Republican Committee announced just recently that he would be resigning his post as chairman immediately following this weekends 6th District Meeting. It clear to me that Dr. Michaels has made a clear statement about his passion and love for the Republican party and specifically the Republican Committee of Augusta. Dr. Michaels had stated that there is currently to much diversiveness in the party and will step down in an effort to end some of this for the benifit of the Party overall. This level of integrity and honor is rare and I for one am glad to call this man a friend and colleague. Dr. Michaels has stated that he has no intention of leaving politics or not staying active in Augusta County issues.
